Application
The device is used as hand pistol for riveting, welding and edge folding of plastic parts.

Despite an integrated titanium booster the weight of the welding pistol is lower than 900 g. Optimum construction and design of the welding pistol allow for a particularly comfortable handling. The titanium booster ensures a maximum safety of the converter and optimal adaptation to the various tools.

The peak voltage stability of the generator enables worldwide application of the device, even in case of critical power supply.

Advantages of the SPK version:
By the permanent cooling of the piezo-ceramic transducer and the titanium booster an extremely high performance period can be achieved.

The cooling air pipe is integrated in the HF control cable. Advantage: No disturbing connective elements for a separate pipe, and the cooling air is led directly to the spots to be cooled. Moreover, if needed, an additional cooling can be carried out in the welding area.

For this the grip is fitted with an exhaust port for the cooling air, into which cooling pipes can be simply screwed in. In this version the generator is also cooled by an incorporated ventilator.

    A power window min/max US time is used for monitoring, i.e. a minimum power value must be reached during the specified energy. If this power value is not reached within the power window, the generator indicates welding faults.

Application of the 1x4 hand pistol

The device is used as hand welding unit for riveting, welding and edge folding of manifold plastic components.

Based on the established technology of the ultrasonic welding pistol series 588 SPK it is possible to carry out several operating steps without any tool exchange, by adding up to four welding heads.

The ultrasonic power is transferred automatically to the welding head which has been activated at first. The sequence is irrelevant. There are two versions for the manual use.

Technology

Generator, commutator and control are integrated in one module housing.

The HF-commutator 1 x 4 is controlled by a PLC type SIEMENS and the current status is shown on the front via LED.

The time can be determined manually by the operator or alternatively via an integrated digit timer with adjusted period of time.

Also this device can be combined with all heads shown above.

The US-QC hand manipulator combines the precision of a special machine with the flexibility and cost efficiency of a hand pistol device. In a small batch welding with the KLN US-QC hand manipulator it can be guaranteed that the operator has welded all necessary welding spots with the given welding depth.

Otherwise the component will not be released by the machine. The hand manipulator can be applied flexibly and it can be used for several projects due to exchangeable coded fixtures.

The hand manipulator indicates to the operator the spot to be welded. The welding process is manually triggered off by the operator and supervised by the hand manipulator.
