The KLN „Toolmaster“ series is
used in many areas of the
automobile industry and in
numerous plastic processing
companies.
The Toolmaster versions differ
above all in the tool
construction, the size of the
active surface and the degree
of automation of the tool
exchange.
All versions of the series are
suitable for high temperatures
and are the only ones on the
market to be equipped by
default with fire protection
techniques to separate the
tools quickly in case of energy
power outage or exceedance of
the time limit.
In addition to this product
range, we also provide of
course special machines tailor-
made to your needs.

The TOOLMASTER- Series
Toolmaster "Basic" is a standard machine. It is used in the industrial mass production
and has a very high cost and benefit efficiency. The versions"Advance," "Semi-
Automatic" and "Automatic" work with tools in a sandwich procedure which allows the
handling of upper die, hotplate and lower die as a compact unit. They are especially
trimmed for fast and frequent production changes.

TOOLMASTER- Automatic
We have developed the
Toolmaster Automatic, the
highlight of our Toolmaster
series, for a tool exchange
without a qualified setter
The time which was originally
needed for the exchange of the
tool and the set up now belongs
to the past. Now, the Toolmaster
exchanges two sandwiches
within 90 seconds only.
|
|
Die TOOLMASTER
SEMI- AUTOMATIC
is also operated with
a sandwich tool.
The formation of the
sandwiches is done
behind close doors
in the interior of the
machine. Manual
operation for the
change is only
needed for the
moving of the
sandwiches from the
transportation cart
into the machine.
The operation is
finished after 10
minutes.

SANDWICH- tools
The upper tool, the hotplate
and the lower tool are joined
within the machine at push of a
bottom, then the “sandwich” is
put in parking position and,
according to the application in
process, it is conducted to the
hotplate station or put at
disposal for extraction.
|
|
The hotplate has a
temperature of up to
500 °C and while
being in parking
position it is located
above the upper tool.
Thus it will not
damage the push
bottom, nor the cable
or the vacuum intake
manifold. While being
in parking position, it
can be permanently
kept on operating
temperature.
